Ex-Maxdata Professionals Join transtec

Michael Leineweber takes over Group purchasing while Roman Klamke becomes head of product management

The Tuebingen-based transtec AG strengthens its IT know-how for 2004 with two new arrivals: Michael Leineweber and Roman Klamke from IT manufacturer Maxdata.

Michael Leineweber took over as head of purchasing for the entire transtec Group on January 1 this year. He spent the last ten years working for Maxdata, managing component purchasing for the production of desktops, notebooks and server systems at Maxdata Systeme GmbH based in Wuerselen, Germany. Leineweber replaces Franz Bochtler at transtec who will now be responsible for new strategic orientations.

Roman Klamke, most recently head of Maxdata European product management for the server and storage sector, has joined transtec as head of product management. This branch insider with vast IT know-how will strengthen the company’s strategic sectors, which include server and storage solutions, network products, PC systems, notebooks and monitors in addition to pushing ahead with future product strategies.
